Certificate of Cancellation
An official document issued by a County Court to confirm that a judgment has been paid in full within one calendar month or has been cancelled (set aside) by the Court.
An official certificate/ document issued by the county court when the debtor has paid off the debt within a one month period from the County Court Judgment being issued. This can be applied for by the debtor and usually will require a proof of payment of the account from the creditor. A fee can be charged for this certificate by the county court. Once this has been issued, the CCJ should be completely removed from the debtors file with the different credit reference agencies.
