Having been a client of The Financial Helpline now for several years, my wife and I thought that it was only appropriate that we made other people who may be facing a similar financial dilemma that we once found ourselves in prior to contacting this company.
This organisation has done far more than their name suggest, they have gone well beyond just offering what you might otherwise expect of a dept management company, in terms of dealing with our creditors, offering tailor made solutions that have assisted us in overcoming our indebtedness that was spiralling out of control, but most important of all, giving us the reassurance that no matter how bad things had become, there was indeed a secure long-term method of getting us back on track.

The companies resolve to ensure the best possible outcome for their clients is relentless, from negotiating with creditors, writing and speaking to solicitors and courts, to securing competitively price loans and re-mortgages that had seemed beyond reach to people with adverse credit ratings, but somehow, they manage to succeed where others fail.
If we have a single regret, it's that we did not discover this wonderful organisation from the outset of our financial turmoil, if we had, then I may not have suffered two minor strokes due to the enormous stress we were under at the time.
Thanks to The Financial Helpline, our family is now well on its way to financial recovery, having discharged 70% of our depts. thru a management program that has been both affordable to us as clients, but realistic enough to satisfy our creditors, which is no small part due to the credibility that the Financial Helpline has built up since it was established.

Hi Pearl Julie and the rest of the team.
It is now eight since i hit my brick wall, built of debt, which I did not realise was so bad. It was not a problem until I was hit by the recession, then when the money stopped coming in, there it was. What would I do to sort this mess out, as I could not see a way clear at all.
The answer was right in front of me, my lap top computer. I set about searching the internet with the intention of looking for a debt management company, knowing for definite, that it was a waste of time.
How wrong can you be, as i logged on to the Financial Helpline Limited and sent a message asking to be contacted and not believing it would happen. My phone rang two hours later and that was the first of many conversations, I had with Pearl and what a Pearl she turned out to be. Later Julie was on hand to assist as well and I know i frustrated her, many times, with my laid back attitude. They set about sorting out my problems and I can say hand on heart, that, I have had only a few minor irritating letters from creditors that were passed on to Pearl and Julie to deal with. Financial Helpline get in touch immediately with creditors and negotiate with them and have protected me from creditors all along.
If anyone else reads this letter, other than the Financial Helpline people, take heed of this, if you or people you know get into debt problems, forget your solicitors and contact these lovely people, who are on hand to help, believe me.

Had to write to let you know how grateful we are to all the team at Financial Helpline, especially Sue Worth who is our main contact.
In January our company went into liquidation 30 years of incredible hard work folded due to the recession, not only did we have to deal with the great emotional stress at losing everything we had worked so hard for, but the enormous pressure and worry of dealing with all the bills and mounting personal debts due to our loss of income.
We found Financial Helpline on the internet, there were so many companies to choose from, it was honestly by luck that we chose to approach you, the best and wisest decision we have probably ever made. It would have been so very easy to have run away from it all, ignored all the post and not deal with the situation, Sue was so helpful on the phone and when she explained that Financial Helpline would help deal with the situation, it was a huge relief to know that we were not alone and someone was actually going to help us.
I had a nervous breakdown during those first unsettling months, the worry was beyond comprehension, I can honestly say that my health and sanity would have deteriorated even more had it not been for The Financial Helpline.
With your help and support we did not have to deal with our creditors ourselves, you act as a huge barrier between us and them, you have not only given us peace of mind but taken away all the financial pressure away from us, we are now able to deal with our debts efficiently and without worry.

I wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Pearl Yates and her colleague Viv Wood.
I entered into an IVA not so long ago but it was the most difficult decision to make first of all accepting that you're in a no win situation with endless debt and secondly wanting to do something about it by trying to dig yourself out of a very big hole.
Viv was always there if i needed advice, she then put me in touch with Pearl who I can say is available practically 24 hours a day 7 days a week. I was in a situation that I could no longer control, I wasn't sleeping, and I felt sick and was continuously worried about how I was going to get myself out of a very difficult situation. With a young daughter to look after too i felt i was getting deeper and deeper into despair. Both Pearl and Viv helped me through it and i can safely say now that I can look forward to life with my daughter. We can now enjoy life, be happy and laugh - they always told me not to worry, which was something that given the situation i was in i was always worrying. Pearl once said to me that we should be able to live our lives and not live to work, this is such a true statement and one i will remember for a very long time. Their words of wisdom and advice are very strong and they listen to you, they will not shout you down, they will discuss the best way forward taking into account all of your circumstances. This really does make the Financial Helpline what it is today. I have called FH many times, it doesn't matter who I've spoken to, I have never been made to feel worthless but someone looking for a solution.
Their advice is countless

I am writing this letter to thank you and your colleagues for helping me to deal with my debt problems, and by way of recommendation to others, who may find themselves in a similar predicament. Debt can feel like a huge black cloud on your life...it tinges your every waking hour with worry.
Facing up to debt is possibly one of the hardest things I have ever had to do, so the prospect of telling a complete stranger was even more daunting. Having first spoken to various companies, I was becoming more upset and desperate at the "call centre" style staff, apparently reading from cue-cards in patronising and in some cases, disinterested tones, explaining their procedures and paperwork. The Financial Helpline stood out immediately, and from the minute I started to discuss the scope of my problem, I was at ease and reassured by the very human and sympathetic person at the end of the phone. Far from feeling isolated and judged. I was gently taken through the process which could put me on my way to financial recovery, and started to feel immediately lifted.
After a full financial review, a suitable solution was agreed and letters sent to all creditors concerned. There was a slightly upsetting interim period, during which I received phone calls and threatening letters from some creditors. Many were very sympathetic to my plight, and commended me on having the courage to deal with the problem. However, there were some unnecessarily aggressive calls. Whilst these were unnerving, I was able to talk them over with The Financial Helpline, who once again provided sound advice on how to deal with them, and in some cases contacted the creditors directly for me.
There is still a long way to go before I am debt free, but The Financial Helpline has smoothed the paths for me and literally enabled me to sleep soundly at night, in the full knowledge that their support and expertise is on my side, helping me get 'back on track' They are on-call for me when I need them.
Thanks for being the financial sunshine behind the black cloud that is debt.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Myself and my husband just wanted to write to you to say a huge thank you for helping us getting our lives back together. Unfortunately we, like many other people got ourselves in to a lot of debt through one thing and another (Going to work part time after our child was born, and over spending and generally just trying to keep afloat).
After massive discussion, myself and my husband decided that there was really no other direction to take, we had tried all the others, consolidation loans, paying credit card payment with money withdrawn from the credit cards, and re-mortgaging. Nothing seemed to help; we were at our lowest point. I was searching the web for some help and advice and came across your website and decided to give you a call. That call was the best move we ever made. Fortunately I got put through to a lovely lady called Pearl, who straight away put our mind at ease and told me that no matter what happened that she would be able to help. She said that there would be another option if our IVA application wasn't successful, which helped immensely, as i knew someone was going to help us.
Pearl was very honest with me, she told me exactly what was going to happen (good and bad), when the call centres rang, and what to say to who and when.
Although it was a tough process, Pearl (or one of her colleagues), were always available to call and ask for any advice, if i couldn't speak to Pearl, she would ALWAYS call me back.
I cannot speak highly enough of Pearl; she was like our guardian angel, guiding us all the way. We were successful in obtaining an IVA; we can now sleep at nights, and will never get into such a mess again.

I became a client of financial helpline in late 2006. This was due to my own personal ''credit crunch''. I found myself over-extended on credit cards, bank loans and the rest.
Writing this email less than three years later, I remember being overwhelmed by the whole situation. The feeling was close to despair. 2006 was a massive low point, terrible emotions, low self-worth, sleepless nights, stress and no doubt poor health. It impacted family, friends and work. Again, completely overwhelming!
So this message is intended for two reasons: firstly to thank the team at the Financial Helpline. Secondly to offer support to anyone else currently in a similar position.
Back to '06, Pearl deserves my greatest intitial thanks, she steadied my nerves, and persuaded me neither to panic nor to feel isolated.
Since that date I have been lucky enough to have access to the rest of the team at Financial Helpline. Will and Julie have been great, and Scott has been my mentor! Thank you Sir for the countless hours spent discussing my situation and sorting out issues.
From a position never thought possible then to today. On Monday 16 Feb 2009 I sent my last final payment to the last creditor. I think I can safely say I am debt free!

I have been with FH since January 2007.
They have been a complete lifeline to me.
I was at my wits end with my amounting debt and felt like there was no way out for me until i was put in touch with Pearl at FH.
She put me at ease from the moment I started to talk to her and the whole service I have received from both her and her colleagues has been outstanding.
I really believe that they care for the individuals and offer THE best service and advice possible.
I thought that an organisation such as FH would be a little patronising and look down on people such as myself who found themselves in such a financial mess - but nothing could have been further from the truth.
FH are also now providing my Mother with advice on her mortgage and I can honestly say that i would not go anywhere else for advice and support!!

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all at the Financial Helpline, but especially Pearl Yates, for all their help and support.
Just before Christmas my husband had a horrendous motorbike accident. He was self-employed before this, and at the time of the accident out financial affairs were in a terrible state, I thought we would loose everything, including the house.
Shortly afterwards my dad saw The Financial Helpline featuring on "Loose Women" he called them on my behalf, and they have worked tirelessly to help reduce our financial worries, such as getting a mortgage holiday period, and advice on dealing with the credit card companies.
Thanks to all the wonderful staff, especially Pearl, we are more or less back on track. My husband is finally home from hospital, and will hopefully be back at work by the end of the year.

A few months ago I rang the Financial Helpline for advice as we were severely in debt and at an extremely low point in our lives. I rang on the Friday and you rang me back on the Sunday on your day off and talked to me for 3 hours giving me sound, reassuring advice on how to deal with our issues. I must admit that I was a little bit sceptical that someone would be willing to advise me for free without any alternative motive, but I was wrong you just genuinely are a kind person. You gave me your mobile number and told me if I needed you, to ring you anytime, something you stuck by as I rang you on several occasions. At the time we were unable to afford an IVA but when we were, you passed us on to Matthew who has worked extremely hard for us and I am happy to say we are now in an IVA.
